Fewer breakdowns on the days you need it most

Most emergency calls we see could have been caught at a tune-up. Two visits a year, spring and autumn, keep the system clean, checked and ready.

Why homeowners choose us

How a Northvale visit works

HVAC repair is easy to oversell, because most people can't check what's inside the unit. Northvale shows you what we find and puts every price in writing.

  • A written price first

You approve the price before we pick up a tool. No surprises on the invoice.

  • Arrival windows that mean it

You get a two-hour window and a text when your technician is on the way.

  • See what we see

We show you the failed part or send photos, so you are never asked to take our word for it.

  • Repair before replace

If a repair is the sensible choice, we say so, even when a new system would be a bigger sale.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does a service visit cost?

The diagnostic visit is $89. If you go ahead with the repair, that amount comes off the bill. Comfort Plan members pay no visit fee.

How soon can you come out?

We offer same-day and next-day windows when they are available, and we tell you honestly when our next opening is. During heat waves, plan members are booked first.

Do you work on all brands?

We repair most residential brands of air conditioners, heat pumps and gas furnaces. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you the expected date in writing.

What warranty do I get?

Manufacturers warranty their equipment and parts, and we provide a written warranty on our workmanship. We explain both before you approve the work.

Should I repair or replace my system?

It depends on age, repair cost and how often it breaks. Try our repair-or-replace guide for a quick read, then we can confirm it in person.

Too hot, too cold, or just not right? Let’s take a look.
